Designed by Foster + Partners in 2015, the Dot pendant lamps combine formal rigor with the most modern lighting technology. They convince with their simple, well-balanced shapes and are visually very elegant and understated despite their large size.

Especially when viewed from the side, Dot appears refined and sophisticated, because the reflector and lampshade are flat and the vertical rod connecting the parts is slender. In addition, the suspension is barely visible, which gives it the appearance of a floating light panel.

The suspension lamps in the Dot series are made of aluminum and feature integrated LEDs. The LEDs are located in the lower lampshade and are also not visible from below, so they do not create glare. They shine upwards and the light is reflected downwards in the room. Due to this shadowless light distribution, Dot is suitable both for illuminating large tables and as interior lighting.

Since the high-performance light source generates a lot of heat that cannot be dissipated by the lower lampshade alone, a special heat sink is installed in the vertical lampshade. This heat sink thermally connects the LED switching circuit to the heat sink in the upper lampshade, thus solving the problem of heat generation in an excellent way.
